How you can Help

In Mexico there are too many homeless dogs and cats, living on the streets enduring much suffering. Pet abandonment, not spaying or neutering, and over breeding of animals, without having enough good homes for them to go to, continue to create a horrible life for many dogs.

In Querétaro City alone there were 14,000 dogs sacrificed in 2005 and 9,000 in 2006. Imagine how many are sacrificed, or starve to death at a national level! With these sad numbers, everyone needs to do their own part in stopping this tragedy. It is time to stop the breeding of purebred dogs for profit, and releasing puppies to their new homes, without first being spayed and neutered. The horrible problem of pet overpopulation and abandonment is a problem we can solve together, through spaying and neutering, and each person deciding to not breed their purebred dogs.

Our purpose in ANIMAL WELFARE is to help these beautiful animals to find homes where they are loved, respected and taken care of, rather than having to suffer on streets, or slaughtered in a cruel way.

For this reason we perform the following tasks:

-  Give in adoption dogs and cats that are currently in our facilities.
-  Encourage sterilization to avoid excessive reproduction.

Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms. - George Eliot
