My name is Laura Andrea Olachea Magriñá. I was born in Mexico City and I also lived in Caracas, Venezuela; Rome, Italy; Kuala Lumpur, Malesia; Guadalajara, Jalisco, and I have lived in Oaxaca for thirteen years. I have been a Spanish teacher since 1986.
I have worked at Centro Linguistico de Guadalajara for three years, at the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca (ICO) for three years, at Solexico for two years and a half and at other Spanish language schools in Oaxaca, teaching Spanish and developing curricula.
I’m now a private Spanish tutor teaching all levels from absolute beginners to advanced, as well as Latin American Literature.
I also speak Italian, English and a bit of French. More than once in my life, I was a student of another language! I understand the difficulties of learning a foreign language and also the fun and pleasure of being able to communicate in a new language.
